Adam W. Rothkrug, has been involved in NYC real estate matters since graduating Duke University (1983) and Cardozo School of Law (1986). Mr. Rothkrug has testified in court as a zoning expert, taught continuing education programs, and provided opinion letters in connection with a variety of multi-million dollar developments. Adam has more than 25 years of experience appearing before the Board of Standards and Appeals, City Planning Commission, and the City Council, and has represented a wide variety of developers, institutions and individual property owners. Adam has represented the Building Industry Association of New York City in connection with analysis and testimony of proposed zoning legislation and has helped draft amendments to the NYC zoning resolution on behalf of the Zoning Advisory Council.
Simon H. Rothkrug, is a graduate of Brandeis University (1986) and Hofstra Law (1988) – where he also obtained an LLM in taxation. Simon is one of the most experienced and successful land use litigators in the New York City, having obtained several landmark court decisions. Simon has obtained approval of numerous condominium plans and homeowners’ associations and has extensive experience in all facets of real estate transactions and financing.
Douglas M. Spector, is a graduate of Union College (1981) and Fordham Law School (1984), where he was selected and served as an editor of the Urban Law Journal. Prior to joining Rothkrug and Rothkrug, Mr. Spector worked for the law firms of Epstein, Becker & Green and Wormser, Kiely, Galef & Jacobs where he acquired extensive experience in real estate and corporate law as well as estate planning and probate/administration proceeding in Surrogate’s Court. Doug established his own practice in 1990, and joined Rothkrug and Rothkrug in 2001.
Finally associate Neal S. Friedman has been a transactional attorney for almost twenty years and Todd S. Dale actively participates in all aspects of the land use practice, routinely appearing at the Board of Standards and Appeals, City Planning Commission.
