Neal S. Friedman has been an associate with Rothkrug Rothkrug & Spector, LLP for seven years, where he specializes in the negotiation and closing of both residential and commercial transactions, from the routine to the complex. Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Friedman practiced as an associate at the law firm of Rapier & Wilson, P.C. in Allen, Texas, concentrating in the areas of real estate, probate, small estate planning and civil litigation.
For the ten years prior to moving to Texas, Mr. Friedman, a native of Wantagh, was a Sole Practitioner, where he represented clients in real estate transactions with a concentration in foreclosure litigation, landlord/tenant, workouts, creditor bankruptcy and residential closings.
He earned a Bachelor of Arts degree, cum laude, from the State University of New York at Albany in 1986 and a Juris Doctor from Hofstra Law School in 1989. He is admitted to practice in the states of New York and Texas.
A member of the Nassau County, New York State, and Texas Bar Associations, Mr. Friedman is also active in his community. He is a member of Wantagh Kiwanis, where he serves on its Board of Directors. While a resident of Texas, he was a member of the Allen Texas Noon Rotary Club, serving on its Board of Directors, a Community Representative of the Collin County 2003 Citizens Bond Committee, and a Business Community Representative of the Campus Improvement Team of Bolin Elementary School. Additionally, he was a 2002 graduate of Leadership Allen, a program sponsored by the Allen Chamber of Commerce to develop leadership skills and community involvement in its participants.
