Todd’s primary areas of practice include land use and administrative law. His land use experience includes representing real property owners in applications filed with the New York City Board of Standards and Appeals and Department of City Planning for variances, special permits, administrative appeals and zoning map amendments. This representation includes research and review of zoning issues, drafting of application materials and appearances before City agencies and local Community Boards. Todd is also experienced in representing real property and business owners in hearings before the Environmental Control Board for violations issued by the Department of Buildings or the New York City Fire Department, as well as hearings before the Department of Health and Department of Consumer Affairs. Todd is a member of the New York State Bar Association.
Todd obtained a B.A. in History and English from the University of Michigan and graduated from Brooklyn Law School in 2006. While at Brooklyn Law, he was a member of International Law Journal and participated in the school’s Legal Services Corporate and Real Estate Clinic. He was admitted to the bar in 2007. He previously worked for the office of Eric Palatnik P.C. and joined Rothkrug Rothkrug & Spector LLP as an associate in 2007.
Todd lives in Brooklyn with his wife, Nicole, a Director and Senior Supervisory Analyst with WJB Capital Group, Inc.
